We reduce poverty-driven deforestation by adding equity and inclusion to climate finance and by increasing the value of forests to their local communities.
We add biodiverse personality to accredited carbon credits for forests that are certified by one of the major international carbon Registries. Certified carbon credits are not usually geolocated.
Our SatNav App estimates the net carbon removal rate per hectare, which it uses as a guide to assign a pool of carbon credits to each hectare. This process geolocates certified carbon credits.
To each NFT, we assign rights to 1 hectare of a forest. This bundles sponsorship rights for that hectare's biodiversity with that hectare's assigned number of certified carbon credits.
We geolocate sites of interest in each forest, such as waterfalls, caves, medicinal trees and endangered species. This enables us to add rarity icons to your NFT that represent it's geolocated biodiversity.
We pay a fee, from each NFT sale, to fund forest management and security, then use 50% of the net proceeds to finance regenerative entrepreneurship that multiplies, recycles and compounds your ESG sponsorship.
Problem Statement

The current price for carbon credits is too low to attract funding for many climate projects in low-income forest communities.
Consequently, some members of these communities resort to illegal deforestation to clear forest land for farming, so they can feed their families.
Burning fossil fuels emits carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Forests remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere through photosynthesis.
Companies can offset their carbon emissions, that they cannot eliminate, by buying carbon credits from owners of forests that remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
Forests can attract funding for climate projects if the price, and number of their certified carbon credits, offers an attractive return on project costs.
We enhance the value, and price, of certified carbon credits by bundling them with geolocated biodiversity. This helps reduce poverty-driven deforestation by attracting funding for climate projects located in financially disadvantaged communities.
We also help low-income forest communities get equal access to carbon credit sales, and therefore funding, by bundling certified carbon credits with geolocated biodiversity into NFTs. NFTs offer non-traditional sales channels.
Our initial NFT sale includes up to 20,000 hectares of biodiversity. Each hectare's biodiversity is bundled into an NFT with at least 5 certified carbon credits per year.
IF we increase the value of each forest and its biodiversity to its local community,
THEN that community will conserve existing trees, plant new trees and preserve the local biodiversity.
Our Solution
We onboard each forest, that already has certified carbon credits, into our SatNav App by geolocating the forest’s boundary and its biodiversity. Our SatNav App then uses estimated carbon removal to assign the pre-certified carbon credits to each hectare of the forest. Our app also matches geolocated biodiversity to each hectare in the forest.
Our SatNav App assigns each selected hectare in a forest to one NFT. It then conveys, to each NFT, at least 5 carbon credits per year plus virtual rights to the biodiversity in the NFT’s dedicated hectare. The NFT owner can offset their carbon footprint while tracking the impact of interventions that preserve their sponsored biodiversity. Each of our NFTs is therefore a carbon-backed, pay-to-preserve, biodiversity impact certificate.
We pay a fee to each forest owner to cover forest management, forest security and their other committed co-benefits. We use 50% of the NFT’s net margin, above this fee, to fund a ReFi Social Innovation Studio, which finances regenerative entrepreneurship that multiplies, recycles and compounds NFT sponsorship.
We report carbon, biodiversity and other ESG benefits as composable rarity icons on each geolocated NFT.

Our ReFi Social Innovation Studio
The objective of our ReFi Social Innovation Studio is to transform disenfranchised youth into crypto entrepreneurs.
We use 50% of the net proceeds from this NFT sale to fund our ReFi Social Innovation Studio. First, we solicit challenges and solutions from the local forest community. Then we motivate our international crypto community to help local entrepreneurs leverage Web3 innovations to reimagine sustainable and profitable solutions to legacy challenges. The outcomes include local entrepreneurship, alternative livelihoods, local jobs, economic growth, and hope.
We allow our community to vote on selected decisions.
